Last week I vent on a trip with my class to Galdhøpiggen (Norway's highest mountain, 2469 meters)
Tuesday 08.26 I met all my class mates on school, and we all was so excited for this trip. We seated in the bus and then we first headed to a place named Kvitskrivprestinn. In Kvitskrivprestinn it is a popular place to visit named "Helvete". Translated to English it means "Hell". In my opinion this is one of the most interesting place i have ever bin to. It is a huge pothole where a river have in many thousand years dug all the way down to bedrock and even longer down. It looks like two enormous walls on your bout sides almost falling over you when you are on the bottom if it.
After that we drove to a "camping place" where we staid the night.
Early Wednesday we packed our bags and the we drove up to a place named "Juvas hytta". We got some information about the landscape, what kind of animals and plants lives there. I find this interesting because i like nature. Me, my class and our teacher also got to go inside the mountain by a cave made by ice.
Next day, we actually go back to Juvas hytta, but now we where climbing Norway's highest mountain! We started the hike around 10 o'clock in the morning at Juvas (around 1700-1800) meters above the sea, and then we walked in over 3,5 ours up to the top (2469 meters above the sea). The feeling i got when i knew that i am on the top of Norway was just amazing. But then we walked down to Juvas again, for a dinner in Bøverdalen.
Last day we did not do much more then just drive all the way home.
To make a conclusion, this trip was nothing more then just AWESOME!!
I will love to do this one more time.
